Hello everybody! I just moved to Boise and triathlon is brand new to me. I can only think of two major items that I might be able to purchase used: a bike, and a wetsuit.
I'm 6', 210 lbs. if that helps.
The bike might have to wait a bit - I'm employed by a start-up, so funds are kinda tight. If anyone has an extra wetsuit and is be willing to sell it, please let me know.
I've been referred to Antonio's Idaho Mountain Touring to check out bikes. I'm not really sure what I'm looking for. I'm pretty much a novice, so how much might I be looking to spend on a decent bike? I'm shooting to compete in sprint events come next Spring or so.
If someone has a bike they'd be willing to sell, please let me though. I'm not against getting one now, it's just probably more cost-effective to purchase one when the weather starts to warm up.
