Ironman Canada 2010

Anyone else signed up for IM Canada?

Anyone have some good info on housing options they can share? Other quirky things I need to know, eh?

Hey Norb,
Casey and I have a fantastic house that we've rented the past few years for Ironman and are renting it again for 2011. It is a large 3 bedroom, 2 bath home with an additional separate, fully loaded basement apartment downstairs. The house is located 5 short minutes drive or bike to the race start/expo. It's situated just close enough, but not too close.

I just spoke with the homeowners and they are planning to rent it for 2010. In fact, they are planning to post their rental w/ Ironman in a couple of weeks if not rented out privately beforehand. If you are interested in renting the house, send me a PM and I can provide you with their contact information.

Casey and I plan to be up there in August to sign up for 2011 so we would potentially be interested in renting one of the rooms or basement unit.

Regardless of where you decide to stay, I would advise making your reservations ASAP as many hotels sell out a year in advance.
