Tom, what is that in watts/KG ? I am always threatening to make Kyle weigh-in. He's putting out big watts and big watts per Kilogram, but he keeps insisting he's at 160 pounds

Hey Kelly...
W/KG is the best indicator of how your training and performances will translate into good race times but nonetheless JW is still the man to beat on time and speed, which should help drive all of us to better performances in the coming weeks.

Here are a few top W/KG performers (this is for those that I know weight values as of the day they tested):
TL: 4.23
Casey: 3.91
Neil: 3.88
JW: 3.76
Mary: 2.95

Remember that the Watts are indicitive of the weight value that you input in the rider setup screen, so honesty and precision give you the best feedback (you can't say you weigh 170 in the setup and 160 in your w/kg calculation because you are getting the best of both worlds, high watts from the weight, then low kg because of weight.)

I am proud to hold bench press of biking award.

I think more racing should be done on computrainers where trivial things like body weight, aero position, and bike have little effect.

For those wondering wat a few watts will pan out to

TL: 4.23 5:14
JW: 3.76 5:43

...so as you can see I was right on his heels
