Pacific Crest

Any of you "on the fencers" considering the Pac Crest Half - or one of the many other races offered that weekend in Sunriver? Due to the shi#*y weather here and cold water temps, I'm not too eager to freeze.

Therefore, I'm considering doing Pac Crest later in June. I've been there a few times before for other races and Casey's done the half a few times. Great course. Fun location and great expo. And a heck of a lot cheaper than Boise. http://www.racecenter.com/pacificcrest/

Post here if interested in going with us and/or if you have any "ins" for places to stay either in Sunriver or Bend. If enough interest, we may be able to get a house right there in Sunriver.....walking distance to everything (vs. hotel in Bend).

Hey Rae,
We were in Sunriver for the race two years ago and used Village Properties for housing. They seemed to have lots of choices and better prices than the other 'vacation rental' companies. And great to work with, too. Once you're in Sunriver you can leave the car behind and ride bikes anywhere.

But as you know, Boise will be a great race and you guys should just stay here and suffer through the unseasonable weather with the rest of us.
