If you would like to volunteer for the 70.3 - I received this email from one of my co-workers. Please read:
Our baseball teams in East Boise are volunteering for the Ironman competition because they will pay our organizations some money for providing 85 volunteers. So far we are 23 short. Do you know of anyone that would be interested in helping out the Ironman competition that isn’t volunteering already? A great way to support the athletes and nonprofit youth sports program at the same time.
I'm the chairperson for the Downtown Teardown (11 pm to 3 am) shift. I could use 3 volunteers that don’t mind staying up late at night. I’ve heard rumors that they give the volunteers all the Gatorade (or whatever sports drink is sponsoring the Ironman) they want and they let the late shift people take some home if there are any left.
