Broken Spoke is putting on a "short track mountain bike race" this Friday about 20 miles east of town. Click this link for more info. I will go as long as the weather is good so let me know if anybody wants to carpool out.

According to the promoter:
“These events are good fun and easy format. It's a very safe environment for your first race and it's road racer friendly so non-mountain bikers don't be scared. Competitors will also receive a hamburger or hotdog following the last heat.”
