That would be great - but I've haven't ridden with the Sunday group before so I don't know which route they take - anyone leading????

BTW - I'm in the SLOOOOOW group.

Hi all,

I have confirmed, we leave Camel's Back at 10, and are doing the 70.3 course. Nice and easy.

Just one word to describe today's ride..... BRUTAL! That fan out there on Kuna Mora was on full speed! Hope someone remembered to turn it off. I have never been so happy to pull into Camel's Back in my life....glad I did it, but glad it's over.

As the saying goes..."what doesn't kill you will make you stronger"!
Hey, that would be a good motto for one of my shirts!

Now, I'm going to drink my beer....cheers!:D

Agreed Rachel; that ride was brutal today. Guess we need to know what's possible on the day.

Next Sunday we head off West on Hill, Beacon Light and head towards Middleton. We need the regular long distance rides. Let's hope it's wind- free though.

Kudos to everyone that successfully bucked the headwinds today.

The ride was awesome! I had never ridden in winds that strong...Never felt as slow or as fast before (especially taking that right turn on Cole)!
We worked well together, taking 1min pulls.
Looking forward to more of the team work on our next sunday rides.

I was sorry to hear that you ran into some wind on the 70.3 course. In case you were wondering... we didn't have any wind on Cartwright Loop just sun, and I am pretty sure 60% of the thing is downhill.

On one lap Tom let us stop and get ice cream at the gas station cuz he said is a secret wepon when biking downhill

Good times
