For those interested, Gordo Byrn is heading up training camps in Tucson, AZ and Boulder, CO in 2009.

The Tucson camp is bit more training & cycling focused, geared for those interested in some "Big Training Days". Th camp has been slotted for the week of March 29th to April 5th (Sunday to Sunday, Training from Monday to Saturday).

Generally two groups form during each cycling session: elites and competitive age groupers and a slower group (< 13 hour IM types or those interested in an easier day). The 2009 camp will include rides to Madera Canyon, Kitt Peak, Mt Lemmon, Gates Pass and more of the surrounding Tucson areas. There will also be oppurtunities to ride and swim every day throughout the camp. Swim ability is spread across the spectrum, from 50 min to 1:20 minute IM swimmers. Many folks posted lifetime best swim volume last year during the camp.

Wheels on Wheels (www.wheelsonwheels.com) will be assisting us again and making sure your bike is cleaned every day. Your only bike maintenance duties will be filling your watter bottles each morning. They will take care of the rest.

Camp Tuition is 2350.00 and covers all accomodations (Hotel Arizona), meals, and training support from March 29th to April 5th. A 500.00 deposit secures your spot until January 1, 2009.

To reserve your spot please email Kelly: admin at endurancecorner dot com.
