Congratulations to Adam and Kelly Wirth for tearing it up at Xterra Vegas. Adam placed 1st in his age group and 2nd amateur overall in a very competitive field. Kelly placed 2nd in her age group. Way to go to both of you.

You guys are two of the biggest SANDBAGGERS in the valley. Just going to Vegas to spend some time with the family. Yeah right. Good job guys.

That is awesome...way to make Boise proud Kelly and Adam! I keep saying this, but I have to do one of these Xterra things soon, they sound super fun...maybe CDA on June 6th! From the write-up sounds like Vegas was a brutal course which always favors athletes from the NW!

We need to get a MTB ride or two integrated into the club workouts!

I agree w/ Tom.....incorporating some Mtn bike rides into the club workouts would be a nice change of pace and great cross training to boot!

Great job in Vegas guys!

Thanks for the kind words guys (Kyle, we won't get to the subject of sandbagging based on what happened at our house while you were babysitting Fred), I can't tell you how awesome Jenny T and Adam did on the long course, it was hot and friggin' brutal, made those Wed track sessions seem like a walk in the park.

But...on the subject of mtn. bike rides, short track racing this saturday - Sagebrush Scramble- out east of town - 1 mile, flat, fast crit-style racing. Great way to push your LT for 45 mintutes.
Next Sat. May 16th for those that don't feel like the Famous Potato(e) - "Avimore" Coyote Classic - great race, I guess Avimore will have live band, jump house, kids project - does that include sheetrocking?

Both events I think can be found at www.knobbytireseries.com (http://www.knobbytireseries.com)
Fun events to push your comfort level a bit before the summer race season.

Good Idea! I'd also love a group mountain ride once a week!
