Hope everyone had a good race on saturday. Dr. James had a great 5k run and eased into 1st place. It must have been the pep talk I gave him before the race. I think I said good luck James run fast or something like that, but it must have worked. Also saw Jeremy doing the 10k, but not sure how he ended up.

I tried to keep up with Brian, but he can skip faster than I can. I think its his long legs, and it did appear as though he had been working on his skipping in private. I had a PR of 1:41:33 which is not bad considering my longest run in the past 2months was 8miles and I may have had a few too many beers watching the BSU game the night before. Its never good to feel dehydrated before the race even starts!!

How did everyone else do? Anyone up for Zeitgiest this saturday??

Nice run Rob...that's a solid time & isn't that a tough course?

Jeremy got 2nd in the 10K. He looked like a giant standing next to the skinny 1st and 3rd place finishers at the awards ceremony.

It was a great day for a run. The course is very nice with the first four miles on dirt. When I can avoid the pavement I will. The hill at mile twelve is a lot of fun, just long enough to make sure your legs are tired by the finish line. As for this skipping thing, I my skip a little on my own but there’s still a lot of room for improvement. Nice run Doc Rob. All I saw of James was a yellow blur on the horizon. Nice job everyone, Brian

Nice job at the races guys! I heard about Jame's sweet victory and Jeremy's outstanding run, and apparently Jeremy was in first place up to the last mile.

As for the 'skippers'....also a great result. Its a tough course and to get a PR is unusual on tough courses.

Tom raced twice this last weekend and 'did well' using his terminology but the results haven't been published yet so we're waiting to see 'how well'. Incidentally, Tom is racing twice again next weekend, or maybe we should call him Superman and have him wear his underwear on the outside of his pants and paint a letter 'S' on his chest!!

The results don't surprise me......and like I've alwasy said, 'the harder you train the luckier you get.....' and you guys are getting really lucky.
